today!
some less neat things:
-i woke up late and had to pack bread, just bread, and some butter, for lunch and breakfast. i was hungry a lot of the day.
-it was nice in the morning but started raining in the midst of my post-work ride from pier 39 to UCSF. i was late.
-either something is wrong with my bike or my legs hurt a lot from standing alllll day and i was tired so that ride sucked.
-i realized mid-bike ride that i had left my wallet in my work coat. ID, credit card, EBT card, and $1. (plus a semi-burnt $1 and a half-burnt $1, so i guess that’s like $1.50 but not really). so i couldn’t even take the bus if i wanted to.
some more awesome things:
-i found a quarter on my bike ride!
-i met up with Enzo’s brother and his friends; I met Enzo in Chile and was with him on a boat for 3 days, then ran into him later in Valparaiso and hung out for a few days before we each took off.
-Sebastian (enzo’s brother) brought me a gift from Enzo: My own Super8 camera! OMG. now i need to find film and figure out what kind of battery it takes and then i can film stuff. sweet.
-i ran into tantek while with the germans and he gave me the rest of the money i needed to get on the bus cause it was still rainy and i didn’t want to ride home.
-my corner store doesn’t take a check, but they did allow me to set up a tab since i’m a regular
